Needed them to see around my 20' Shasta Travel Trailer as the ones I had for my 2007 Chevy Silverado (CIPA) were not interchangeable. These however, would fit a whole host of pick ups in my opinion. More specifically they easily mount, dismount and maintain that certain line of sight I needed to tow with my new truck (the aforemention 2009 Dodge Quad Cab RAM). Happy with the delivery (speedy) and safe arrival. I would recomend the seller highly.

I don't use these while I'm towing forward or backing at the ramp - the magnification is a little too much so the field-of-view is too small, but I have a long, tight area where I have to back my 30' boat alongside my house, and there is just one way it fits.
I don't want helpers or witnesses when I back in - my wife makes strange noises when this huge boat swings in towards the house and no one else does it enough for me to have them on the same page as me.
So the mirrors let me see pretty well how far back I have gone and I don't have to get out of the truck 4 or 5 times to see how far back on the slab I am. For this, they are priceless.
For all-round towing, you need a couple of small stick-on mirrors to widen the view. The mirror mounting straps stay on pretty well.

I have a new Toyota Tundra and the trailer towing mirrors from the manufacturer are very expensive. Other extension mirrors do not fit because the truck mirrors are too large. I purchases the Valley towing mirrors and they work very well. I am very pleased. They take no time at all to install and stay put on the truck mirrors. There is hardly any vibration so the view behind is great. Thank you.

You only get one mirror, so make sure you order two if you need two of them. Also works good for beginners, fast and easy to put on. But if you want something more stable then spend the money and get one that is designed for your mirror.
