I love the concept of these bags. I used them for vacation, and instead of making trip after trip to the car, I put all of the little stuff in the bags and just rolled it out at once. The only problem was that coming back home, I cleaned off the bottom of the bags before I put them on the car, but they still scratched the top of my suburban (which REALLY would have bothered me before I had kids). Overall, the bags are great, but don't get too far from a car wash.

I was putting this in an older model celica and it's actually pretty small. I couldn't get it comfortably placed either. The straps isn't quite long enough to wrap around my seat so I had to improvise with the headrest. I don't think it's that great of a buy because the pockets aren't that large or deep. The bottom pocket with the zipper is the most useful but if you have an armrest then it's not as accessible as your armrest.



I wouldn't recommend this buy unless you're desperate for some organizational space. Especially for older vehicles that aren't built with many pockets.

It fit perfectly on my Ford Escape seat without even adjusting the straps. The lower pocket tucks in behind the armrest but is still easily accessible. My wife says she doesn't even notice it back there when she is riding in the passenger seat. I would have given it five stars but the pockets were a little smaller than I expected. The extra storage pockets I now have will still be very useful for my cell phone, sun glasses and other items that usually end up lying on the passenger seat.

The bottom straps are too short to fit around the bottom of the seat and too long to adjust securely around the armrest. The bottom pocket is the only truly useful one. Save your money and don't buy this one.

I love my Side Seat car Cover by Thule. The Organizer fits very easily on my passenger seat side. Its a perfect fit as it is the exact length between the top of the passenger seat and its armrest. Thule has made it very clean looking and built it well. It adds three pockets to stash your odds and ends. It is very handy and mostly out of the way, even when I reach back behind the drivers seat. I use my vehicle as a support station, and it helps hold stuff I need to get to quickly!



The upside: Small compact and out of the way. Easy to get to while driving. Adds storage without cluttering up the car. Build to last and easy to install. Will work well with and will not interfere with other behind the seat storage devices or pockets. Kids can't kick it from the booster seat. And looks cool!



The downside: It does not hold too much stuff and my passenger seat armrest cannot fold up while it is attached. Not that it ever needed too anyway.



Good product for the money!

I am so glad I finally bought this. I love the convenience. I was always dealing with a bag of trash floating around the car that I would have to move out of the way for a passenger. I can easily reach this from the front seat but it's not in my sight, cluttering up the front of the car. I think it would be a bit in the way if you were sitting behind the passenger seat, but I just take it off if I have additional people in the car.

This may seem pricey but this is the only car trash bin product that works. Someone actually thought this one out. It has functional lid, extra bag storage, holds the bag securely, looks nice and is just the right size. The only weakness is it attaches to the seat with just one strap. Have owned a Thule roof rack for years and always attached it to our Jeep's existing roof rack. However, we sold the jeep last summer and were disappointed to learn that our new car's roof rack did not come with the cross bars. We purchased the Thule cross bars, foot pack, and locks and loaded up our car for the Jersey shore. Worked like a charm. Installation was easy; the biggest issue was moving the feet in tandom to get everything even (the existing bars were curved to contour the car). In a nutshell: my husband didn't work too long at the installation and any complaining was minimal (if any) so, for us, that is a success story! Upon our return from vacation, I wondered if the locks were really necessary given how weighted down the Thule was with luggage; however, better safe than sorry and it was nice not having to worry about one more thing that could go wrong! Worth the money.

What else to say - Thule doesn't provides it as part of the system. They sell them as add-ons for obvious reasons to make money.

If you are putting money into their expensive base system; you will obviously fear of getting it stolen and will be motivated or fearful enough to buy the locks.



So, I bought the locks and had to use little pressure and mechanical sleight of hand to fit them.



I bet, after a tiring, struggling and brainy (if you are not mechanically inclined) installation of the whole system, no-one would ever be willing to take off their rack systems; Only time I see them taking them off is when I need to dispose them off.
